Infuse your life (and your family’s) with the magic and joy of songs and chants for all of life's passages and celebrations. Singing first evolved among humans, not as some “optional extra”, but as an essential source of energy, joy and connection every day. Learn songs for beginnings, for welcoming, honouring, summoning courage; songs for greeting the new day, sharing a meal, expressing gratitude and songs for saying goodbye.
Threading our singing throughout the landscape of Hollyhock and Cortes Island, we’ll chant in the Sanctuary, sing in the forest and by the ocean, hum in the garden, and more. This singing is not about performance; it's for making connections to self and others and the world we live in. All voices, all ages welcome.
Shivon Robinsong is co-founder of Hollyhock, founder/co-director of the 350 voice Gettin’ Higher Choir in Victoria BC, and co-founder of the Ubuntu Choirs Network.
